Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
Seasoning & Liquid
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Pour the low-sodium chicken broth into the slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, combine salt, onion powder, dried thyme, paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Rub the olive oil over the chicken breasts, then rub on the seasoning mixture evenly on both sides.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on **Low** for 4 to 6 hours, or on **High** for 3 to 4 hours, until internal temperature reaches 165 °F (≈ 74 °C).
  6. Remove chicken, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice or shred and serve with juices or sauce.

Notes

Adjust seasoning to taste; you can substitute herbs such as rosemary or oregano. Use the leftover juices as a light sauce. Always verify internal temperature before serving.
